The Fruit Juice Science Centre is a science information body funded by donations from a wide range of orange producers, juice manufacturers and packaging companies based in Europe and Brazil.
Our mission is to provide evidence-based information to consumers, journalists and health professionals on the role of 100% fruit juice in diets and health.

The Fruit Juice Science Centre is managed by Programme Director, José Marti, and supported by Science Director, Dr Carrie Ruxton. Jose Marti studied International Business and has worked at a senior level for several international consumer brands, including the major European juice company, Eckes-Granini. Jose’s role in the Fruit Juice Science Centre is to liaise with funders and provide leadership for the overall programme. Carrie Ruxton PhD studied Dietetics & Nutrition and has worked with several food brands and trade associations focusing on science communications. Carrie’s role is to manage the Fruit Juice Science Centre’s research programme and support internal and external communications.
